Week 52! Its Been a Year!

Hey Ni hao everyone !!! So ya I'm back in Donghai. It's already an adventure. The ward is still kinda trippin' cause this is where my popcorn fire happened. 

I met with a less active from America and it was super cool . I took a different approach and he was super open to the fact that maybe he could be wrong and there could be a God. He was way cool. 

We also met this guy named Rick. He is a buisnessman who sells propellers. He is really cool guy. He did not swear at us or scream anti Mormon stuff. We just talked apparently he knew President Uchtdorf and he just talked about how America need a strong leader and it got me really excited to just go back home and make a change. He was really cool. 

We also had a baptism yesterday. It was pretty cool. My comp and I are also climbing to the top of sky scrapers to help me get over my fear of heights so that is fun, and scary at the same time. I nearly fell the first time.

Week 51: Hanging Out With Elder McKenzie, My Cousin in Taiwan

1.  What is the best thing that happened this week? I spent three amazing days with my so called cousin Elder McKenzie and then Elder Terry who is from Spanish Fork.

2. What are you praying for? My Chinese to improve, baptisms, and my family and friends. 

3.  Where are you reading in the scriptures? Mosiah.

To start off, I am with Elder Buck Walter in Donghai.

I also got a call from some where a little out of our area from a good friend so that was awesome!! It was like one of the best moments of my life. I also spent sometime with Elder Shelton before I left.  It was kinda rough but U got to spend THREE GLORIOUS DAYS WITH ELDER MCKENZIE and Terry!!! It was so so so much fun, like I have not had so much fun in my life! It was just so much fun with all these guys to be completely honest, just a ball. Elder Terry is from Spanish Fork and we know a lot of the same people!! Elder McKenzie is apparently my cousin ? 

It was kinda funny. I was talking to a investigator. He is a cop and he was telling us he twenty and I'm like you are twenty and a cop and I am twenty and missionary.  We also tried to have this lesson with this one kid but all he would talk about his breaking up with his girl friend it was ridiculous....their entire relation ship was over Skye.

Anyways I got to see Elder Noll today and Elder Robison and Edwards so that was always a pleasure. Holy cow, Jared.... you are freaking tough.  I hope you have a speedy recovery so that you can get right back into soccer. So good to hear about Spenny and Megs!! I love you all!

Week 50: A Short Email from Elder Buhler

1. Have there been transfers? I'm being transferred. Elder Shelton is training.

2. How are your investigators?

They are doing great. There are two baptisms this week but I won't be there because I'm being transferred.

Ni hao everyone!!! Well this week has been insane. In fact, this month has been insane... just a huge storm. I might have 4 root canals so hahaha. I'm also getting an MRI next week because of the car accident last week!!!  I'm just working super hard trying to be a better mish. I have lot of goals: have good Chinese and be firm in the gospel are my most important!!!  Love you all. 

Week 49: Elder Buhler Got Hit by a Car?

Hello everyone !! 

We went on exchanges with the APs which was awesome. I got some one on one time with Elder Wong who just got into BYU and we just talked about life.

Last  Saturday I got hit by a car. Elder Shelton got pushed into the tree and I went over my bike and made friends with the garage door. The driver just drove off so God bless them! We had a basketball activity and we didn't expect a lot of people to come but man we had like 12 people show up.  It was off the chain!  This week U have been really looking at the Atonement and forgiveness. 

So I was reading all the cool letters everyone wrote for Christmas and man do I feel dumb. Everyone's letter was so funny and loving and I was so serious It was like the one time I chose to be serious in my life. Anyways not much is happening. I'm trying to get president to let me and Elder Shelton be the mission video elders who make mission videos. Love you all. God lives. The Atonement is true. Love you all. Elder Buhler
